This program welcomes passionate undergraduates from across Canada who are looking to deepen their expertise in statistics and data science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Highlights include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Collaborative Research Experience:<\/strong>&nbsp;Work closely with leading faculty and doctoral mentors on intensive theoretical or applied projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Core Statistical Learning:<\/strong>&nbsp;Participate in short courses covering both foundational and cutting-edge topics in statistical sciences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Engagement and Insight:<\/strong>&nbsp;Experience a dynamic schedule of seminars, networking events, and real-world applications in the heart of Toronto.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Canadian citizens or permanent residents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full-time students currently in sophomore or junior year (entering 3rd or 4th year in Fall 2025).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum A- (3.7) average in mathematics and statistics courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Availability for the two-week duration of the program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>March 14, 2025, at 11:59 pm ET<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you know of any undergraduates who would benefit from this rigorous and rewarding experience, please encourage them to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statistics.utoronto.ca\/UTSSRP\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">apply<\/a>.
