Get involved with the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS). We\u2019re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our standing committees and editorial boards. This is your chance to contribute to the mission and important work of the Society and help shape the Canadian mathematical community.<\/figure>

Whether you\u2019re passionate about governance, research, or a specific area of mathematics, there\u2019s a place for you. We have several openings for committee members, chairs, and editorial board positions with terms starting on\u00a0January 1st<\/sup><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>

Please indicate your own interest or nominate a colleague using our online form by September 30th.<\/strong> The Nominating Committee will review all submissions and work to fill positions throughout October.<\/p>

The CMS has several\u00a0standing committees,\u00a0<\/a>staffed by volunteers who are dedicated to the mission and important work of the Society.\u00a0 Please nominate your colleagues for these volunteer opportunities and\u00a0elected positions, or to indicate your own interest in serving on a committee.<\/p>

In filling vacancies, the Nominating Committee will consider the need for committees to represent the full diversity of the Canadian mathematics community, including such axes as mathematical areas of expertise, region, gender, career stage and more.<\/p>
