Has it been a while since you got to play with some cool math instead of just grading it? Do you secretly miss the thrill of finally solving a problem after a few hours?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>If so, we have excellent news: the <\/em><strong><em>Math Battle<\/em><\/strong><em> is coming to Ottawa, and yes, it\u2019s finally <u>your<\/u> turn to have fun!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>When?<\/em><\/strong><em> November 21, 2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Where?<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;University of Ottawa, Learning Crossroads 230<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This friendly battle is part of a larger plan to launch a full Grades 10\u201312 Math Battle tournament in 2027\u20132028. This year, we\u2019re running two warm\u2011up battles \u2014 one for teachers and one for students \u2014 to get everyone familiar with the format and excited for the real deal <\/em>\ud83d\ude04<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>You\u2019re invited to participate, cheer, observe, or join the post\u2011battle discussion \u2014 even if you\u2019re not playing.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>More details<\/em><\/strong><em> (including registration, schedule, rules, and past problems) can be found <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/kate-tretiakova\/service\/contests\/teachers-math-battle\"><em>here<\/em><\/a><em>. Please register individually by <\/em><strong><em>Nov 16<\/em><\/strong><em>.
