We believe that early intervention at a young age is critical for young women interested in STEM. The program provides a space for encouragement and aims to increase diversity in the STEM workforce by pairing self-identifying young women in grades 7-12 (ages 12-18) with professional mentors from a diverse range of STEM fields. In doing so, mentees can gain first-hand knowledge of STEM early on, which we believe is vital in building the confidence to succeed in the future. In order to achieve this, we rely on the help of our mentors who are eager to nurture female innovators towards professional development and diversify the landscape of the STEM workforce.

Our applications to become a mentor for the 2026/2027 program year are now open. Apply to become a mentor here.

We ask that mentors are able to commit 1-2 hours a month and provide a police record check upon completing an application.
