Remembering The Honourable Kirsty Duncan
The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is deeply saddened by the passing of former cabinet minister Kirsty Duncan. Minister Duncan was a strong supporter of STEM education and of the CMS’s math education initiatives, and she took particular pride in the achievements of Girls Math Team Canada at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiads. The CMS is grateful for Minister Duncan’s support and honours her memory and lasting legacy in advancing science and education in Canada.
