NEW: Six CMS Members named as 2026 Fellows by the Fields Institute
Ottawa, ON – Six CMS members were awarded fellowships by the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Science last week: Dr. Irene Fonseca (Carnegie Mellon University), Dr. Maia Fraser (University of Ottawa), Dr. Jane Heffernan (York University), Dr. Leah Edelstein-Keshet (University of British Columbia), Dr. Ján Mináč (Western University), and Dr. Adam Van Tuyl (McMaster University).
Fields Institute fellowships recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Institute and its activities.
