Please join us for a special edition of the MathEd Forum in which celebrate the 2024 recipient of the Margaret Sinclair Memorial Award Recognizing Innovation and Excellence in Mathematics Education, Dr. Lauren DeDieu, Assistant Professor at University of Calgary. Inspired by her work in mathematics outreach, we explore this theme further through a panel discussion that showcases diverse approaches to outreach for inspiring and engaging students in mathematics.

The MathEd Forum, hosted by the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences, is a community dedicated to discussing and enhancing mathematics education at all levels. The Forum encourages the exploration of new ideas and diverse perspectives, aiming to build consensus and drive improvements in math education across Ontario and Canada. It fosters the development and implementation of innovative methodologies and materials to elevate the quality of math education.
