June 2024 (Vol. 1, No. 12)

On his international speaking tour, Professor Po-Shen Loh shares his outlook on learning to adapt to AI as it becomes more prominent in our modern society, both through a mathematical and problem solving lens.

Professor Loh is a math professor at Carnegie Mellon University and served a decade-long term as the national coach of the USA International Mathematical Olympiad team from 2013–2023. He leverages incentive alignment and game theory to invent solutions to real world problems from a pandemic control app during COVID to a math education ecosystem combining actors and high school math stars that was covered by CNN.

His talk will feature his thoughts on the future of the job market from his insider perspective and his advice to survive in this evolving world.

He will host several public events in the Greater Vancouver area in July but you can watch online. Feel free to register for the time that is most convenient for you.
