Exciting Summer Research Opportunity for Undergraduate Students in Statistical Sciences
Dear Colleagues,
The University of Toronto’s Department of Statistical Sciences is thrilled to announce its Undergraduate Statistical Sciences Research Program (UTSSRP), taking place June 2–13, 2025. This program welcomes passionate undergraduates from across Canada who are looking to deepen their expertise in statistics and data science.
Highlights include:
- Collaborative Research Experience: Work closely with leading faculty and doctoral mentors on intensive theoretical or applied projects.
- Core Statistical Learning: Participate in short courses covering both foundational and cutting-edge topics in statistical sciences.
- Engagement and Insight: Experience a dynamic schedule of seminars, networking events, and real-world applications in the heart of Toronto.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Full-time students currently in sophomore or junior year (entering 3rd or 4th year in Fall 2025).
- Minimum A- (3.7) average in mathematics and statistics courses.
- Availability for the two-week duration of the program.
