Joint Mathematical Meetings (JMM) | January 4-7, 2026

Dear members of the Canadian Mathematical Society,
It is with utmost pleasure to share that at the next Joint Mathematical Meetings (JMM), which will be held in Washington, DC, from January 4 to 7, 2026, the ILAS Invited Address will be delivered by Dr. Dominique Guillot from the University of Delaware.
Dr. Guillot is a distinguished mathematician whose research spans matrix theory, analysis on networks, mathematical statistics, and spaces of analytic functions, with applications in data science and missing data problems. A graduate of Laval University, he earned his Ph.D. under the supervision of Thomas J. Ransford, receiving distinction for his dissertation. He then held postdoctoral positions at Stanford University and the University of Southern California, working with Bala Rajaratnam and Julien Emile-Geay, before joining the faculty at the University of Delaware, where he is now an Associate Professor. He is also Adjunct Professor at Laval University. Throughout his career, Dr. Guillot has been recognized with numerous awards, including the NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship, and multiple teaching excellence prizes. His contributions to linear algebra, functional connectivity modeling, and applied mathematics continue to have a significant impact on the field.
We look forward to his lecture at JMM-2026 and hope you will join in celebrating this well-deserved recognition.
Best regards,
Javad Mashreghi
