Programming in University Mathematics Education in the Gen AI Era: An Online Panel Discussion

The aim of this Online Discussion Panel is to provide a platform to discuss timely changes, responding to the quick advancements of generative AI (genAI), in the area of programming in university mathematics education (UME). The discussion focus will be two-folds; namely on (1) the relevance of continuing to integrate programming in UME, and (2) its uses, opportunities and challenges in the university classroom.
