Queer in Computational and Applied Mathematics (QCAM) Workshop 2024
The inaugural Queer in Computational and Applied Mathematics (QCAM) Workshop will be held at ICERM 25-28 June 2024. This meeting will celebrate the work of LGBTQIA2S+ mathematicians working in computational and applied mathematics, provide unique networking opportunities, and facilitate collaborations among researchers within the queer community. Activities for the workshop include plenary talks, working groups, contributed talks, a panel discussion, and more!
Plenary Speakers for the workshop include Tim Atherton (Tufts University), Clint Dawson (University of Texas), Pamela E. Harris (University of Wisconsin Milwaukee), Stacey Smith? (University of Ottawa), Kristin Swanson (Mayo Clinic), Chad Topaz (Institute for the Quantitative Study of Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity), and Andre Wibisono (Yale University).
Working Groups will be led by Pamela Harris, Chad Topaz, Stacey Smith?, Andre Wibisono, Ron Buckmire (Occidental College), and Eitan Grinspun (University of Toronto).
